Cordyceps king extract also known as Chinese caterpillar fungus, is a precious traditional Chinese herbal medicines. Caterpillar fungi are the result of a parasitic relationship between the fungus and the larva of the ghost moth genus Thitarodes. It is mainly produced in China, Qinghai, Tibet, Sichuan, Yunnan, Gansu, and Guizhou provinces, alpine areas and mountain grasslands.
